With all the new cards I've been working on, I sometimes forget about my single novel - Belinda and the Beast. My first story, written intentionally for publication as a book, has a special place in my heart. With a refreshed cover to match the rest of my brand, I wanted to share some cards of Belinda and her friends.

It's a quirky tale, written in Belinda's POV, with some chapters in the POV of the awakening shadow monster that Belinda has fallen in love with. Belinda, or Bee to her friends, is a quiet introvert who has trouble seeing herself fitting in with her friends. While her friends are more energetic and extroverted keep her in their circle.
Set during Christmas break from Bee's first year in college. Her homecoming awakens memories and desires, spinning a magical tale in which Bee's dreams bring her shadow monster to life. Spicy times happen while keeping quiet so her parents don't notice her new boyfriend living in her room.
It's fun and flirty. Spicy and somber. While it started as a mono-romance, the story led me in a different direction by the time it wrapped up.
